A Petrobras just officially released about the comperj saying is working hard and tirelessly for the resumption of the UPGN in Itaboraí, there is no need to worry about whether or not to start the project because it will have to happen one way or another. At this moment, it is looking for other subsidiaries to complete the work on Train1, which is only undergoing preservation work.
She also said that a project on the scale of Comperj must take regional policies into account, for which BR is using a series of socio-economic factors in the region. One of the institutions responsible for this monitoring is the Fluminense Federal University (UFF) and the United Nations Program for Human Settlements (UN Habitat). It is very, very important for everyone to know that the economic and employability priorities resulting from the undertakings will only be directed to the municipalities around Comperj.
Municipalities of Comperj
The municipalities that will be economically contemplated with the UPGN will be Niterói, São Gonçalo, Itaboraí, Rio Bonito, Maricá and Tanguá, Cachoeiras de Macacu, Casimiro de Abreu, Silva Jardim, Araruama, Saquarema, Guapimirim and Magé, Nova Friburgo and Teresópolis.
Petrobras, together with approximately 8 government institutions, companies and communities, are creating sustainable development systems in the region, which are directly linked to environmental protection and social inclusion in the locality.
At the end of this month of July, when we have a final position on who will win the bid for the work and the start of hiring, Sintramon (Union of Workers Employed at Assembly and Industrial Maintenance Companies in the Municipality of Itaboraí) will announce on social networks and on all communications vehicles, so watch out!
