The deadline to request a waiver for the registration fee for the Caixa Competition ends today (7). The fee is R$ 50 for high school and R$ 65 for higher education. Candidates who meet one of the following criteria are entitled to the fee waiver:
- Provide proof of registration in the Unified Registry for Social Programs of the Federal Government, by indicating the Social Identification Number (NIS);
- Be a bone marrow donor in entities recognized by the Ministry of Health;
- Be a member of a “low-income family,” as defined by Law 13.656.
Interested parties can submit their applications until March 25, through the website of the organizing body, Cesgranrio. The announcements for the Caixa Econômica Federal competition offer more than 4,000 vacancies in the institution, with 3,200 immediate hiring opportunities.
The first announcement includes 2,000 vacancies for the general position of new banking technician, with 1,600 immediate and 400 for the formation of a reserve list. The opportunities for the selection process are distributed across all 26 Brazilian states and the Federal District.

The second announcement offers 50 higher education vacancies for occupational doctors and safety engineers, with salaries of R$ 11,186 and R$ 14,915, respectively. The convocations will follow the number of vacancies specified in the announcement, respecting the 6% reserve for people with disabilities and 20% for Black individuals, within the total number of vacancies and the reserve list of the Public Competition.
How Will the Tests for the Caixa Competition Be?
The tests are scheduled for May 26, with results planned for August. Those approved will be summoned starting in August 2024 to present documentation and undergo mandatory medical exams. The essay test, which is eliminatory, will be conducted on the same day as the objective stage, structured in a discursive-argumentative format, with a total score of 100 points.
