The Competition of the Caixa Econômica Federal Had Its Announcement Amended. With This, Changes Were Announced, the Main Ones Being the Change in the Registration Deadline and in the Minimum Requirements for the Exercise of Positions.

According to the document, the update of requirements refers to the positions of higher education. In this sense, it is highlighted, for example, that the position of Work Safety Engineer now has the following basic requirement:

Properly registered diploma of completion of an undergraduate course in Architecture, with registration in the Council of Architecture and Urbanism – CAU, or Engineering, with registration in the Regional Council of Engineering and Agronomy – CREA, and postgraduate course in Work Safety, with a minimum workload of 360 hours, recognized by the Ministry of Education (MEC), both issued by the date of admission.

This amendment includes the possibility for the candidate to present their registration in the Council of Architecture and Urbanism (CAU), in addition to CREA.

As mentioned, another change occurs regarding the registration deadline. Now, those interested in the Caixa competition will have until 11:59 PM on March 25 to submit their application. Previously, the maximum deadline was on the same day, but only until 4 PM.

Another novelty in this announcement amendment was the inclusion that “it is prohibited for participants of the public competition, even if they have a firearm license, to show weapons or enter the test locations with weapons.”

Two Announcements for the Competition

In total, there are two announcements for Caixa competitions. Both documents are for competitions conducted by the foundation Fundação Cesgranrio. In the first, there are most of the vacancies. These opportunities are for the position of bank technician, but they have different specifications. Check it out:

  • New Bank Technician (traditional);
  • Information Technology (IT).

For these positions, there will be four thousand vacancies, two thousand for each function. The interested party, in summary, must have completed at least high school to participate in the competition. The initial salary for the position is R$ 5,575.54.

The second announcement published has 50 vacancies. These opportunities are divided into the following positions:

  • Occupational Physician (28 vacancies);
  • Work Safety Engineer (22 vacancies).

The remuneration for these two positions, which require a complete higher education, is R$ 12,999.80 and R$ 16,728.80, respectively. In addition to the salary, the approved candidates, who will work 30 hours a week, with six daily hours, will have several additional benefits, which are:

  • Food and Meal Allowance – R$ 1,014.42;
  • Food Basket Allowance – R$ 799.38;
  • 13th Food Basket Allowance – R$ 799.38;
  • Daycare/Babysitter Allowance – R$ 602.81;
  • Health Assistance; and
  • Supplementary Pension.

When Will the Caixa Competition Take Place

The exams for the Caixa competition will take place in May, on the 26th, meaning that the student will have almost four months to study for the competition. On the exam day, candidates for bank technician positions, for example, will be evaluated through objective and essay tests.

This objective test will have 60 questions, with 25 from Basic Knowledge and 35 from Specific Knowledge. This applies to all positions. The difference is that, for the physician and engineer positions, there will be five more questions, and there will also be a title evaluation, which will have a classificatory character.

How to Register for the Competition

Those interested in the Caixa competition should stay alert, as registrations are already open, and the registration can be done on the Fundação Cesgranrio website, as mentioned at the beginning of the article, until 11:59 PM on March 25.

To participate in the Caixa competition, it will be necessary to pay a fee of R$50 for the positions of bank technician and R$60 for the position of occupational physician or work safety engineer.

It is important to highlight that, at the time of registration, the candidate should pay attention to the pole/macropole/state field of choice. This is because, for the position of traditional bank technician, for example, the city where the exams will be held will be automatically linked to the pole/macropole/state of choice.

For the technology bank technician position, the candidate, in addition to choosing the pole/macropole/state of choice, will have the option to choose in which city they want to take the exams.
