The Brazilian Navy has released the anticipated notice for the admission competition for the Naval School, with registrations starting today (23). The selection is for the year 2025 and offers a total of 54 spots, with 42 for men and 12 for women. The competition is aimed at candidates who have completed or are in the final phase of high school, according to the JC Concursos website. Check the details and how to register!
Stages of the Competition for the Naval School
The first phase of the competition, scheduled for August 31 and September 1, will consist of objective tests in mathematics, English, physics, and Portuguese, in addition to an essay. The tests will be held in 22 cities across the country.
Approved candidates in this stage will undergo other phases, such as verification of biographical data, health inspection, physical fitness test, psychological evaluation, and document verification.

Learn More About the Navy Competition for the Naval School
Study and Training Routine
Those approved in the Naval School competition will undertake a Bachelor’s degree course in naval sciences with a duration of four years, in a boarding regime. The course is scheduled to start on February 3, 2025, at the Naval School located in Rio de Janeiro (RJ). During the course, recruits will receive salaries of R$ 1,5 thousand, in addition to uniforms, meals, and medical-odontological, psychological, social, and religious assistance.
In the third year of the course, aspirants will be able to choose to specialize in one of the three branches of the Navy, such as the Naval Corps, Marine Corps, or Supply Corps.
Registrations and Requirements to Participate in the Navy Competition
Registrations for the Naval School competition will be open from 8 AM today, April 23, until May 8, at 11:59 PM (Brasília time), on the site CLICKING HERE. The registration fee is R$ 100, but bone marrow donors and beneficiaries of CadÚnico can request a waiver until April 26.

To participate, candidates must be between 18 and 22 years old by June 30, 2025, and have completed or be in the process of completing high school. After graduation, as second lieutenants, military personnel’s salaries approach R$ 7,5 thousand, plus additional benefits according to the Armed Forces pay scale.
