The Ministry of Planning and Budget (MPO) announced the opening of another competition notice, offering 100 immediate vacancies, as well as forming a reserve list, for the position of Planning and Budget Analyst. This is an opportunity for professionals with higher education, with a basic salary of R$20,924.80, plus R$658 for food assistance. The positions will be in Brasília, Federal District.
Applications and Schedule
Interested candidates can register from January 31 to February 21, exclusively on the website of the organizing body, available at cebraspe.org.br/concursos/mpo_24. The registration fee is R$ 100.00.
Stages of MPO Competition
The competition will be conducted in two distinct stages, with responsibilities assigned to Cebraspe and MPO.

First Stage – Cebraspe
This stage, under the responsibility of Cebraspe, includes:
- Objective and essay tests, with eliminatory and classificatory character.
- Title Evaluation, with classificatory character.
Second Stage – MPO
The second stage, under the responsibility of MPO, includes:
- Training course, with eliminatory and classificatory character.
The objective tests, scheduled for April 28, will have a total score of 300.00 points and will cover the topics detailed in the notice.
Evaluation and Fail Criteria
The candidate will be failed in the objective tests and eliminated from the competition if:
- They score less than 20.00 points in the objective test of basic knowledge (P1).
- They score less than 40.00 points in the objective test of specific knowledge (P2).
- They score less than 90.00 points in the set of objective tests.
Essay Tests
The essay test (P3), scheduled for June 6, will cover an opinion on public planning and budgeting and a question about Brazilian reality. The essay test (P4) will consist of an essay and a question, both related to the specific knowledge for each position.
The title evaluation stage will have a maximum weight of 15.00 points, even if the sum of the values of the submitted titles exceeds this limit.
