The Itumbiara City Hall, located in the southern region of Goiás, opened registrations on Tuesday (28) for a public competition with 800 vacancies. This is a competition for elementary and higher education with salaries that can reach R$ 4,5 thousand. The registration deadline is December 21, 2023, and can be done through the website of Instituto Verbena, linked to the Federal University of Goiás.

This public competition was postponed by the Itumbiara city hall on August 29, so that Instituto Verbena could make adjustments to the notice based on recommendations from TCM, the Court of Auditors of the Municipalities of Goiás.

Learn How to Register for the Elementary and Higher Education Competition
After two months suspended by the decision of TCE GO, the Itumbiara City Hall public competition has been officially resumed. Along with this, some amendments have been announced regarding the distribution of vacancies, requirements, duties, and program content. A total of 200 immediate vacancies and 600 in the reserve list are offered for various positions and educational levels.
With the schedule also readjusted, registrations are now open and can be made until December 21 through the Instituto Verbena website.
For registration, a payment of R$ 60 will be required for positions requiring complete and incomplete elementary education. For high school and technical positions, a payment of R$ 100 will be necessary, and finally, for higher education positions, a payment of R$ 120 will be required.
The evaluation of registered candidates will be conducted through a multiple-choice test, scheduled to take place on January 14, 2024. For teaching positions, an essay and a qualifications assessment will also be conducted.

The Objective Test for the Itumbiara City Hall competition for all positions will last 4 hours, except for teaching positions, which will last 5 hours. Worth 100 points, candidates who do not score at least 40 points will be eliminated. The test questions will be multiple-choice with 4 alternatives, of which only one is correct.
The essay will be held on the same day as the Objective Test, focusing on evaluating the ability to articulate knowledge through written production, observing the skills and competencies in manipulating the Portuguese Language.
It will be worth 100 points, with candidates being eliminated if they do not score at least 40 points. Finally, the qualifications assessment will have a maximum score of 100 points and will be conducted according to the criteria specified in the announcement.
