What Factors Influence This Increase?
The high cost of building in Acre is linked to a series of factors that go beyond inflation:
- High Demand for Properties: the growing demand for housing heats up the market;
- Material Prices: items like cement, steel, and wood continue to rise;
- Labor Costs: specialized professionals have higher salaries;
- Local Infrastructure: areas with limited access increase transportation costs for materials;
- Real Estate Speculation: valued land raises the final construction price;
- State Taxes and Duties: also weigh on the project budget.
Comparison with Other States
With the recorded increase, Acre has even surpassed traditionally more expensive states. Santa Catarina ranks second, with R$ 2,057.33 per square meter.
Sergipe, on the other hand, had the lowest cost: R$ 1,607.93.
What to Expect in the Coming Months?
The trend is that construction costs in Acre will remain high, especially if demand continues to be strong and inputs remain expensive.
