16-year-old student Caio Martins Temponi do Valle, from Juiz de Fora (MG), was chosen as one of the 100 child prodigies on the planet in 2025. He represented Brazil at the Global Child Prodigy Awards 2025, held on June 26 in London, England. The award, promoted by Charles Group, honors young talents from various fields.
This is not the first time the young miner has received recognition abroad, as he has already been acknowledged in two other international awards: the Notables USA and the Notable Brazilian Awards. In one of them, he earned the title of the youngest Brazilian to accumulate approvals in college entrance exams.
Dedication Recognized
For Caio, this new achievement is especially meaningful. “This will be the third award I achieve internationally in the field of education. It is a huge reward for all the study, all the dedication over all these years,” he told the Correio newspaper.
He adds that the motivation comes from the fruits harvested. “Every hour of study and every moment of sacrifice were worth it. The awards prove that dedication and discipline bring concrete results,” highlighted the student.
Caio Martins Is the Family Pride
His mother, Laurismara, also celebrates the achievement. She recalls that the application was submitted in 2023, and only now came the confirmation. “It is an immense happiness. The result came out and showed that all his effort was rewarded,” she said.
According to her, Caio has always dedicated himself with love and patience. “Even when he was tired, he didn’t give up. He stayed strong and focused, and today he is reaping what he has sown,” she added.
Record of Approvals
The young miner has 18 college entrance exam approvals in Brazil on his résumé. Among them, first place in courses such as administration, law, engineering, physical education, and even medicine.
Additionally, he was the youngest candidate to pass the competitive Instituto Tecnológico de Aeronáutica (ITA).
Another notable achievement is his participation in high IQ societies, as he is a member of four of them. He also won a gold medal in an International Mathematics Olympiad, demonstrating versatility in knowledge areas.
Young Man’s Plans for the Future
Currently, Caio is studying law at the Federal University of Juiz de Fora (UFJF) while also taking mathematics courses online through Uniasselvi.
He had previously been accepted to the University of Brasília (UnB), but chose to stay in his hometown.
For the future, the goal is clear. “Since I was a child, I’ve dreamed of being a judge. I am preparing myself early, studying a lot, and I want to stay focused in this direction until I achieve this purpose,” he stated.
