Online And Free Course Offered By ANA And Enap Teaches Techniques For The Analysis Of Minimum Flows And Efficient Water Management, With Certification At The End.
The National Agency of Water and Basic Sanitation (ANA), in partnership with the Virtual School of Government (EV.G), has launched an online course aimed at managing water resources.
The training is free, offered in Portuguese, and open to all interested parties, especially public agents.
Objective And Content Of The Course
Entitled Determination And Analysis Of Minimum Flows For Water Resources Management, the course aims to teach how to calculate and interpret minimum flows, which are essential for sustainable water planning and use.

The training combines knowledge of hydrology, statistics, legislation, and water resource management.
Participants will have access to two theoretical modules and practical activities.
The content covers the treatment of daily flow series through two main statistical approaches: the Permanence Curve and Frequency Analysis.
Workload And Certification
The total workload of the course is 15 hours. Students will have up to 20 days to complete the training and will receive a certificate issued by the National School of Public Administration (Enap) at the end.
The course can be accessed at any time via the EV.G website: https://www.escolavirtual.gov.br/curso/1377. Just register for free to start your studies.
Target Audience And Benefits
Though primarily aimed at public agents, anyone interested can participate.
The training can be useful for professionals in areas such as environmental management, planning, engineering, among others.
In addition to expanding technical knowledge about water resource management, the training provides an opportunity for professional development based on methods recognized by ANA.
The online and free course emphasizes the importance of conscious and planned water use in Brazil.
By addressing statistical techniques applied to water management, the initiative seeks to empower more people to tackle the challenges of scarcity and sustainability of natural resources.
