Enrollment is open for the free professional training courses promoted by the Social Fund of Mogi das Cruzes. The program aims to qualify the local workforce, focusing on income generation and job opportunities. A total of 680 places will be offered, with 500 at the Vila Brasileira center and 180 in decentralized units located in neighborhood associations spread throughout the municipality.
Courses Offered And Class Schedules
Classes for the free professional training courses will occur twice a week, on Mondays and Wednesdays or Tuesdays and Thursdays, with options for morning classes from 8:30 AM to 11:30 AM and afternoon classes from 1 PM to 4 PM. The schedule varies according to the chosen course. At the Vila Brasileira center, courses such as Hairdresser Assistant, Manicure and Pedicure, Eyebrow Design, Makeup, Eyelash Extension, Hands-On Cooking, Confectionery, Creative Sewing, Barbering, and Braiding will be offered, each with 50 places available. In the decentralized units, there will be 60 places for the courses of Hairdresser Assistant, Barber, and Hands-On Cooking.

The president of the Social Fund of Mogi das Cruzes, Maira Cusatis, emphasizes the relevance of the initiative for professional training and encouragement of entrepreneurship. “One of our main missions is to promote social well-being in the city, and the free courses are essential to offer better job and income opportunities,” she highlights.

How To Enroll In Free Courses
Those interested in participating in the free professional training courses must be over 18 years old and residents of Mogi das Cruzes. Enrollment can be done on the Municipal Government website (www.mogidascruzes.sp.gov.br), by the link (access here) or in person at the Social Fund of Mogi, located on the 1st floor of the City Hall building (Avenida Vereador Narciso Yague Guimarães, 277, Centro Cívico), from 8 AM to 5 PM.
