A new selection process notice from DETRAN-PA (Department of Transit of the State of Pará) was published on February 21, with several vacancies without a contest. The process aims to fill 79 temporary positions at Detran, distributed among the roles of traffic assistant (50), programmer (6), and traffic education agent (23).
Requirements to Participate in the Detran’s Vacancies Without a Contest
All vacancies at Detran-PA require complete high school education as a minimum educational requirement. In the case of programmers, it will also be necessary to have a certificate from a computer systems programming course. Among the responsibilities for the vacancies without a contest in the selection process are:
Traffic Assistant
This role will be responsible for providing public service related to inspection units, generating processes related to driver qualifications and vehicle registration, operating Detran PA’s computerized systems integrated with DENATRAN, instructing medium complexity processes related to the traffic area, and performing other related activities.

Traffic Education Agent
This position is responsible for carrying out activities related to the execution of traffic education programs and projects, supporting inspection and traffic engineering actions, and performing other activities related to its area of expertise.
Programmer
This role will be responsible for developing and coding programs, differentiating their objectives, modules, and interconnections, performing maintenance work on the implemented systems, training and guiding users in their area of expertise, monitoring the execution and progress of system projects, clarifying programming doubts of the systems, in order to ensure their idealization within the required quality standards and conducted surveys, among others.
Applications for the Detran-PA Selection Process Will Close on the 28th
Applications will be accepted between February 27 and 28, 2025, through the SIPROS website, the organizing body for the vacancies without a contest. The candidate must complete the registration on the site and attach supporting documentation for the information provided. It is worth mentioning that the administrative contract will last for 12 months and may be extended for an equal period depending on the needs of the administration.
For the vacancies at Detran PA for traffic education agent and programmer, the placement will occur in the city of Belém. For the vacancies without a contest in the Detran selection process for traffic assistant, placements will occur in the following cities:

Stages of the Detran PA Selection Process for Vacancies Without a Contest
The selection process with vacancies at Detran includes three phases: registration, documentary and curricular analysis, and personal interview. The documentary and curricular analysis will be conducted by the selection committee on March 5, 6, 7, and 10. The interview is scheduled for March 18 to April 2, only for those selected in the documentary and curricular analysis.
It is worth mentioning that at the time of registration, candidates must upload documents such as proof of professional experience in the area, educational documentation, CPF, Identity Card, CNH or another document, Birth Certificate, among others.
The starting salaries for the vacancies at Detran start at R$ 3,360 for traffic assistant and traffic education agent and R$ 4,047.88 for a workload of 30 hours per week.
