The major exporter of ceramics and sanitary metals in Latin America, Docol, after achieving the best sales figures (about 20% increase), announced that it will open a new factory in MG. Originating from Santa Catarina, it estimates a revenue above R$ 800 million. The company’s revolutionary profile, focused on design, innovation, and sustainability, along with its constant attention to consumer needs and market expansion of other companies, has made it a reference in Brazil and other countries in Latin America. According to Guilherme Bertani, president of Docol, the investment will come from the company’s own profits, also mentioning new acquisitions that are currently underway.
In addition to the construction of the new ceramics and sanitary metals factory in MG, Bertani also talked about the production of sanitary metals in Joinville and the inauguration of the showroom in SP. Recently, Docol went through a process of acquiring one of the factories of the Swiss multinational Franke, in Joinville, as well as managing one of the factories of Mekal in São Paulo in 2019.

The Future Of Docol’s New Facilities In MG
Docol expects that when the MG factory is operational between 2023 and 2024, it will continue to make substantial investments to further expand its brand name.
According to Guilherme Bertani, about R$ 300 million will be invested over four phases of the greenfield project, which involves the union between Docol and other factories in the area. He also highlighted the increase in production capacity to over 300,000 products per month, ensuring around 500 direct jobs and 4,000 indirect jobs in the region.
