Growth of Solar Energy Use in Brazil Attracts Investments from Blumenau Company and Several Others in the Sector
Leveros Solar, located in Blumenau, is one of the companies in the solar energy sector that has been closely monitoring and seriously considering investments in this new market. Compared to the previous year, its revenue recorded a growth of 300% in 2020. This year, the Blumenau company is expanding the Distribution Center in Vila Velha (ES), which will start storing and distributing photovoltaic kits, which is currently done by the Distribution Centers in Blumenau and Conde (PB). Thus, the company expects to offer more agility and efficiency to its integrators.

Investments in Solar Energy in Blumenau
One of the major highlights in Brazil regarding energy generation has been solar energy. The country has already surpassed 8 gigawatts of operational capacity of photovoltaic solar energy and has generated over R$40 billion in local investments since 2012, according to data released by Absolar (Brazilian Association of Photovoltaic Solar Energy), which also states that in 2021, more than R$ 22 billion is expected to be invested in the sector.
Leveros executive, Tiziano Filho, says: “The photovoltaic energy sector is experiencing significant expansion, and the trend is that more and more companies and individuals will seek a way to produce their own energy. In addition to being ecologically sustainable, it is also financially sustainable, as solar energy becomes cheaper each year, unlike what we see happening with electric energy.”
