Contract Was Signed With Petrobras By Norskan Offshore, Brazilian Subsidiary Of DOF
The DOF Group, a giant company in the vessel segment, secured a contract in Brazil for one of its anchor handling tug supply (AHTS) vessels, as well as new vessel contracts in West Africa and the North Sea.
The contract was made by its subsidiary Norskan Offshore, which signed the agreement with Petrobras for the Brazilian-flagged AHTS vessel of class 21,000 Skandi Amazonas until March 2023.
Both offshore companies agreed on a one-year extension for the Skandi Amazonas in September last year, extending the contract until September 2022.

Other DOF Contracts Around The World
DOF offshore also received a contract to support a FPU for a “major operator” in West Africa, utilizing the vessels Skandi Constructor, Skandi Iceman, Skandi Hera, and a third-party vessel.
Additionally, the Skandi vessel secured a role in supporting drilling operations in the Dutch sector of the North Sea, with chartering starting in November and providing 100 days of vessel utilization.
The estimate for these contracts is approximately R$ 260 million (approximately € 25 million).
Expectations For The Offshore Company’s Contract
According to Mons Aase, CEO of the DOF Group, he declares that he is very satisfied with the signed contracts, which, besides a high order intake, ensure good utilization for the Group in the fourth quarter and the first quarter of 2023.
Among the most recent news related to DOF, it is worth noting that the company secured several contracts in the Atlantic region and the Gulf of Mexico, totaling over 680 vessel days and generating around US$ 108 million.
Skandi Acergy, Skandi Constructor, Skandi Seven, Skandi Skansen, Skandi Hera, and select third-party vessels will be deployed for the offshore execution phases in the Atlantic Region.
In Guyana, the Norwegian company signed a three-year contract for two multi-purpose support construction vessels (MPSVs) with Esso Exploration & Production Guyana.
