Dutch companies Sif and Ballast Nedam sign MoU for joint venture BNS Decom, aimed at decommissioning and reusing steel from offshore wind farms. Towards a sustainable future.

Two Dutch companies, Van Oord and Shell, have joined together in a strategic partnership to develop technology decommissioning of wind farms

The collaboration between Van Oord and Shell aims to create a positive impact on the renewable energy sector, aiming to contribute to the reduction of carbon emissions and promote the global energy transition.

With the MoU signed, the two Dutch companies plan to invest in research and development, as well as the implementation of pilot projects to demonstrate the technical and economic viability of sustainable fuel technologies.
