The Enauta Bid Also Stipulates That the First Oil from the Unit Must Happen Within 27 Months After Contract Signature
Enauta has initiated the bidding process for the adaptation of a floating production storage and offloading unit (FPSO) for the Atlanta oil field, in the Santos Basin. The prevailing information in the market is that the unit is FPSO OSX-2, which was built by SBM Offshore and delivered to OSX in September 2013.
Enauta’s Bidding Process for the FPSO
Enauta estimates that the process will be completed in 10 to 12 months. The FPSO, which has a daily processing capacity of 100,000 barrels per day, will connect 6 to 8 producing wells, 3 of which are already in operation in the Early Production System (SPA). Enauta’s bid considers a 12-month exclusive contract with a purchase option for the winner.
Enauta’s production director, Carlos Mastrangelo, says, “We started this bidding process confident in the resilience of our project. The SPA provided important information to reduce uncertainties in the implementation of the definitive system, which will be developed solely with technologies already mastered.”

Enauta’s Production Return in the Atlanta Field
Enauta reported on February 22 that it resumed production at the Atlanta Field, which had been suspended since January 27 for equipment repairs. The resumption occurred after the company permanently replaced the tubes of one of the heaters of well 7-ATL-4HB-RJS.
Enauta expects to produce 10,400 barrels of oil per day. The timeline for returning to other oil wells remains unchanged: the oil well 7-ATL-3H-RJS is expected to be back in the first quarter of 2021, and Enauta’s initial production in the Atlanta field is estimated at approximately 10,000 barrels of oil per day. The forecast is that well 7-ATL-2HP-RJS will return in mid this year.
