This region, known for its vast energy potential, has been a strategic target for Eneva, which consolidates its presence by investing in explorations that enhance national production.
The discovery took place through well 3-ENV-43D-AM, whose drilling began in July 2023.
This constitutes the fourth discovery made by the company this year, all located in the Amazon Basin.
Eneva announced the discovery of gas in well 3-ENV-41D-AM, located in block AM-T-85 in May.
In April, also within the same block, Eneva communicated another gas discovery through well 3-ENV-40D-AM.
In March, the company reported, still within block AM-T-85, the identification of a gas reserve through well 3-ENV-39D-AM.
