Engie Brasil is very interested in the renewable energy market
Engie Brasil, which is controlled by Engie French, is also very interested in hydroelectric generation projects, as is the case with the tender for the Foz de Areia plant, operated by Copel, in Paraná. The hydroelectric plant must have privatized control for the extension of the authorization contract, which will currently expire in 2023.
Even with the good prospects for this year, Engie Brasil is concerned about the possible impacts that the drought scenario in 2021 may bring to the energy sector.
