The Brazilian Army has hundreds of open vacancies for candidates from various areas. Interested parties can register until this Sunday (19).
Registration for non-competitive vacancies at the Simplified Selection Process for the incorporation of Temporary Technical Officers (OTT) in the second Military Region of the Brazilian Army are now open, with qualifications in the area of degree and holders of a diploma in the Higher Education course.
Who can compete for open positions in the Brazilian Army?
To apply, the candidate must be 40 years old and have completed higher education. Approved participants will be incorporated for a period of one year, which can be extended in the position of Aspiring Officer. The non-competitive vacancies are for the areas of Pathological Analysis, Biology, Arts, Foreign Trade, Sociology and Geography.
Those who are interested must also be volunteers, be a native Brazilian, be up to date with their obligations to the Military Service and the Electoral Court, and have a degree in a higher education course.

As Registration for vacancies without a competition must be made online on the official page of the 2nd Military Region from November 7th to the 19th of the same month. To register, you will need to fill out a form with personal data such as Full Name, CPF, Identity, Date of Birth, Nationality, Marital Status, Address, Contact Telephone, Email, Length of Military Service, among others. The selection process for vacancies without competitive examinations in the Brazilian Army will include the following stages:
- Enrollment;
- Health Inspection (IS);
- Interview and delivery of documentation;
- Physical Aptitude Exam (EAF);
- Technical evaluation ;
- Designation;
- Complementary selection.

How will the evaluations of non-competitive vacancies be carried out?
The technical assessment of candidates will consist of a practical knowledge test, focusing on determining the level of knowledge and skills of the participants.
The list of subjects, application date, bibliography, test duration and other aspects will be published on the 2nd RM website. To take the Physical Fitness test, candidates for open positions in the Brazilian Army must wear the following attire:
- Men: t-shirt with sleeves, pants/shorts/shorts/shorts and sneakers;
- Military: 14th uniform or equivalent for the other Forces and Auxiliary Forces;
- Women: t-shirt with sleeves and sports top, leggings/tights/pants or shorts with thermal shorts and sneakers.
The tasks to be performed in the EAF are Push-ups on the floor, with no time limit, Abdominal overhead, with no time limit and free running, in a time of 12 minutes.
To obtain access to the call-up notices, the candidate can access the official page of the 2nd Military Region, which contains separate notices for each vacancy available in the Selection Process.

It is worth noting that this is not the first time that the Brazilian army has offered vacancies without a competition. In September, the army was open for registration with a focus on hiring professionals to fill a complete list of 31 different professions.
