The Brazilian Army Is Offering Hundreds Of Openings Without A Competition For Candidates From Various Areas. Interested Parties Can Sign Up Until This Sunday (19).
Applications for the openings without a competition for the Simplified Selection Process for the incorporation of Temporary Technical Officers (OTT) in the second Military Region of the Brazilian Army are now open, aimed at those qualified in the undergraduate area and holding a higher education diploma.
Who Can Apply For The Openings Without A Competition In The Brazilian Army?
To apply, the candidate must be 40 years old and have completed higher education. Approved participants will be incorporated for a period of one year, which may be extended in the rank of Aspirant to Officer. The openings without a competition are in the fields of Pathological Analysis, Biology, Arts, Foreign Trade, Sociology, and Geography.
Those interested must also be volunteers, be a natural-born Brazilian, be up to date with obligations to the Military Service and Electoral Justice, and hold a higher education diploma.

Applications for the openings without a competition must be made online on the official page of the 2nd Military Region from November 7 to 19 of the same month. To apply, it will be necessary to fill out a form with personal data such as Full Name, CPF, Identity, Date of Birth, Nationality, Marital Status, Address, Contact Phone, Email, Time of Military Service, among others. The selection process for the openings without a competition in the Brazilian Army will consist of the following stages:
- Application;
- Health Inspection (IS);
- Interview and documentation submission;
- Physical Fitness Test (EAF);
- Technical Evaluation;
- Designation;
- Complementary Selection.

How Will The Evaluations For The Openings Without A Competition Be?
The technical evaluation of candidates will consist of a practical knowledge test, focusing on determining the level of knowledge and skills of the participants.
The list of subjects, test date, bibliography, test duration, and other aspects will be published on the official website of the 2nd RM. To carry out the Physical Fitness Test, candidates for the openings without a competition in the Brazilian Army must wear the following attire:
- Men: T-shirt with sleeves, pants/shorts/bermuda, and sneakers;
- Military Personnel: 14th uniform or equivalent for other Forces and Auxiliary Forces;
- Women: T-shirt with sleeves and a sports top, leggings/capris/pants or shorts with thermal bermuda and sneakers.
The tasks to be performed in the EAF are Push-Ups on the ground, with no time limit, Sit-Ups, with no time limit, and a free run, in the time of 12 minutes.

It is worth noting that this is not the first time the Brazilian Army has offered openings without a competition. In September, the army had applications open aimed at hiring professionals to fill a comprehensive list with 31 different professions. At that time, the opportunities were for the garrisons of the 3rd Military Region of the Brazilian Army. Among the open professions were:
