Advance payment of the PPR and part of the thirteenth salary is part of Havan’s 40-year program, involving more than 23 thousand employees and following the retailer’s expansion plan, which aims to reach 200 megastores in Brazil.
Havan announced that it will advance the payment of the Profit Sharing Program and part of the thirteenth salary for more than 23 thousand employees across the country.
The announcement was made by Luciano Hang, owner of the retailer, and plans to distribute approximately R$ 100 million on June 26, the date on which the company celebrates 40 years of its founding.
With this decision, the usual benefit calendar will be altered this year, as the PPR is usually paid in two stages, one in the middle of the year and another at the beginning of the following year.

Magazine Luiza sells R$ 50 billion, but Havan profits better: Luciano Hang’s company reaches R$ 3.4 billion in profit and highlights the difference in Brazilian retail.
According to the company, the advance was linked to the brand’s four-decade celebrations and the recognition of employees who work in the national operation of the network.
The announcement took place on the morning of Monday, May 25, 2026, at Havan’s Administrative Center in Brusque, in the Itajaí Valley, Santa Catarina.
On the occasion, the announcement happened during the visit of comedian Diogo Portugal to the company’s headquarters, in a meeting attended by company employees.
Luciano Hang told the employees that the amount will be deposited before the traditional deadline as part of the retailer’s anniversary celebration.
According to the businessman, the company decided to combine the advance of the PPR and part of the 13th salary on the same date, associating the payment with the operation’s results and the workers’ participation.
“Working is worth it. Those who dedicate themselves, wear the shirt, and help the company grow also need to participate in the results. I am very proud of everyone who is part of these 40 years. It is thanks to the effort of each one that we continue to grow, generating jobs, and believing in Brazil,” said Luciano Hang.
Havan’s PPR payment will be made in June

Scheduled for June 26, the deposit will be made to the retailer’s employees in different regions of Brazil and advances amounts that would normally follow another payment schedule.
Considering the disclosed amount and the number of beneficiaries, the advance represents an approximate average of R$ 4,300 per employee, although the individual amount depends on the internal rules of the program and the criteria applied to each case.
Havan’s PPR is a benefit linked to the company’s performance and the achievement of goals set by the company.
In previous institutional publications, the retailer states that the program considers results related to sales and operational expenses, in addition to internal criteria applied to eligible employees.
In practice, the decision advances resources that would be distributed at another time in the corporate calendar, according to the usual model informed by the company.
The company presented the change as an action linked to anniversary celebrations, without informing permanent changes in the form of PPR payment for the following years.
Also in 2026, the advance occurs in the same year that Havan completes four decades of operation since its founding in Brusque.
Founded in 1986, the network expanded its presence in the country with the megastore model, a format adopted by the retailer in large units with standardized visual identity.
Havan aims for 200 megastores in Brazil by 2026
In addition to the payment to employees, Havan maintains the goal for 2026 of reaching 200 megastores in Brazil, achieving 25,000 employees, and being present in all states.
The projection was disclosed by the company and Luciano Hang in recent publications about the network’s planning for the year it completes four decades of operation.
Within this plan, the expansion includes entering states where the retailer was still seeking to complete national presence, with public mentions of units in Fortaleza, Boa Vista, and Macapá.
These projects are part of the strategy informed by the company to expand the brand’s geographic coverage and bring the network closer to the goal of operating in all federation units.
The company also reported, in previous disclosures, that it intends to increase the number of employees in the same period it projects new stores.
With an estimate of 25,000 employees, the retailer associates the growth of the workforce with the opening of units, although it has not publicly detailed all inauguration schedules.
The number of operating megastores has been updated by the network itself as new units are opened in different regions of the country.
In recent institutional publications, Havan cited 181 megastores distributed across 24 states, a figure that indicates the need for new openings to reach the mark of 200 units by 2026.
Diogo Portugal participates in announcement in Brusque
Diogo Portugal’s visit to Havan’s Administrative Center was part of the internal agenda held in Brusque during the announcement to the employees.
Welcomed by company employees, the comedian participated in the meeting where Luciano Hang announced the early payments scheduled for June.
During his visit to the headquarters, Portugal recalled his participation in Havan’s convention the previous year and mentioned his contact with the company’s internal culture.
The statement was released by the company in the context of the event, which gathered employees at the administrative headquarters and was part of the actions related to the retailer’s anniversary.
“It was a remarkable moment, with a lot of energy and enthusiasm. Getting to know the company’s culture up close and interacting with the employees made me understand even more the affection people have for Havan. Today, I also feel part of this family,” said the comedian.
The statement was presented in the same context as the financial announcement and the celebrations for the retailer’s 40th anniversary.
In the public information consulted, there was no indication that the comedian’s participation had a direct relation to the payment decision or the program’s rules.
Advance is part of Havan’s 40th-anniversary actions
The June payment becomes part of Havan’s 40th-anniversary agenda in 2026, during which the company announced internal actions, a commercial expansion plan, and national presence goals.
According to the company, the advance of the PPR and part of the thirteenth salary was defined as a way to recognize the employees’ contribution to the network’s growth.
With the deposit before the traditional deadline, employees will receive part of the amounts on a date earlier than the usual payment schedule of the company.
The retailer, however, did not report structural changes in the benefit model, nor did it disclose individualized details about values by position, unit, or length of service.
To reach 200 mega stores, Havan will depend on the execution of the planned openings and the maintenance of the expansion plan announced for 2026.
The progress is also linked to the expansion of the workforce and the completion of necessary units to bring the network closer to the national presence announced by the company.
