The Indian Manufacturer, The Affordable Electric Motorcycle. The Model Has a Range of 125 km and Costs Less Than R$ 7 Thousand.
The Odysse Electric Vehicles, Indian motorcycle manufacturer, presented last week a new affordable and fully “green” electric motorcycle. The model is named Vader and its main feature is the 7-inch multimedia screen, with Android technology and Bluetooth connectivity. The screen also provides functions that can be operated through the company’s app, which is named Odysse EV, compatible with Android models.
Affordable Electric Motorcycle Delivers 125 km of Range
The model from the Indian manufacturer also features navigation routes and other functions available on Google Maps. Completely produced in India, the Vader electric motorcycle costs 1.09.999 rupees, which in direct conversion is equivalent to R$ 6,758, and is in pre-sale.
The mechanical set of the Odysse Vader features a 3,000 Watt electric motor and a lithium-ion battery, in addition to a regenerative braking system. According to the manufacturer, the electric motorcycle has a maximum range of 125 km and is capable of reaching a top speed of 85 km/h, with a total recharge time of just 4 hours.

The affordable electric motorcycle weighs about 128 kg and has disc brakes on both tires. The front brake has a diameter of 240 mm, while the rear measures 220 mm, with the system including a combined braking mechanism (CBS).
Furthermore, its lighting is entirely LED. The Vader is the second electric motorcycle from the Indian manufacturer, which also produces eight models of electric scooters, most of which have lithium batteries, although there is an option that retains lead-acid components.
Low-Cost Electric Motorcycles Become Popular
With its new affordable electric motorcycle, the Indian manufacturer further expands its range of totally electric products, focusing on strengthening itself as one of the main manufacturers of sustainable vehicles in India. However, it is worth noting that besides this model, the electric motorcycle market includes other cost-effective vehicles. For instance, the budget electric motorcycle from PURE EV, called EcoDryft.
The model can reach speeds of up to 75 km/h and has a range of 130 km. The model, which was manufactured in China, can be purchased in blue, red, black, and gray, and can carry up to 140 kg of payload. Naturally, the affordable electric motorcycle entered the Indian market with a very attractive price of 99,000 Indian rupees, which in direct conversion is around R$ 6,200.
