The registration deadline is October 30; the selection combines objective tests and essays and also allows entry through Enem scores, according to the rules of the announcement.

Public And Semi-Distance Higher Education In RJ

The slots are offered by UERJ, UFRJ, UFF, UENF, UNIRIO, UFRRJ, and CEFET/RJ, institutions that are part of the Cederj Consortium.

The model is distance education in a semi-distance regime: the student follows online content but needs to attend academic meetings and evaluations at the centers.

The consortium reports 7,355 slots distributed across 16 courses for the period 2026.1.

The Place Of Pedagogy Among Courses

The Pedagogy Degree is one of the highlights of the announcement and is offered by public universities in the state within Cederj.

The training qualifies one to work in Early Childhood Education and the initial years of Elementary School, as well as in non-school spaces related to education.

The course is organized to combine online activities with in-person moments, following the academic calendar of each participating institution.

Who Can Register

Those who have completed High School or are in the final phase may apply, provided they prove completion at registration.

The legislation prohibits the simultaneous enrollment in two slots at public higher education institutions.

The announcement also prohibits the enrollment of tutors and teachers already linked to courses in the consortium.

In all cases, it is essential to meet the documentation requirements and deadlines of the announcement.

Forms Of Entry And How The Test Will Be

The selection process offers two entry points.

The main one is the traditional entrance exam, composed of 45 objective questions and an essay, with a total duration of 3 hours.

The test is scheduled for Sunday, December 7, 2025, at 10 AM, with the gates closing at 9:50 AM.

The second alternative is the use of Enem; the announcement accepts previous editions, following the rules for priority and allocation of slots.

The preliminary answers, scores, and deadlines for appeals follow the Activity Calendar of the announcement.

Slots, Quotas, And Affirmative Actions

The distribution of slots combines widespread competition, reserves for public school teachers, and entry via Enem, with percentages varying according to the participating institution.

For universities such as UFRJ, UFRRJ, UFF, and UNIRIO, the announcement details the percentages allocated to graduates from public schools, affirmative actions according to Law 12.711/2012, and specific quotas for teachers in teacher training courses.

Each university applies its internal policy regarding the division between entrance exam, Enem, and quotas, respecting federal legislation and, where applicable, state legislation.

Where Activities Take Place

Even though it is distance education, participation in-person at the centers is mandatory for tests and defined academic activities.

The candidate must consider the logistics of travel to the chosen center throughout the course.

Allocation to testing locations prioritizes the municipality of the center, with potential relocation to neighboring cities in exceptional situations.

Registration Fee And Exemption

The registration costs R$ 89.90. The exemption period and pre-registration for quotas and affirmative actions took place in September, according to the institutions’ and the consortium’s announcements.

Those whose requests were approved should follow the announcement’s guidelines; candidates not classified by Enem wishing to take the exam must issue the payment slip within the indicated deadline in the calendar.

The Confirmation of Registration Card will be available exclusively on the selection process page during the indicated period and shows the testing location.
