The Federal Institute of Pernambuco (IFPE) — Campus Jaboatão dos Guararapes — has opened free registrations for the Technical Course in Work Safety, with 60 spots distributed between the morning and afternoon shifts.
This offer is part of the Petrobras Autonomy and Income Program and provides monthly assistance of R$ 660 for all students and R$ 858 for women with children under 12 years old.
The registrations will take place from August 19 to September 1, 2025, exclusively through the program’s platform.

Registrations and Schedule

Who Can Participate

A completed high school education is mandatory, along with having completed all elementary education in public schools.
The family income per capita must be up to one minimum wage (R$ 1,518.00), to be proven at the time of registration.
Residents of Jaboatão dos Guararapes, Ipojuca, and Cabo de Santo Agostinho have priority for being part of the coverage area of the Abreu e Lima Refinery (RNEST).
How Selection Will Take Place
The selection process occurs through a single public electronic draw, encompassing all registered individuals who meet the requirements.
The draw tool uses pseudo-random generation based on time, and the announcement details criteria for order of precedence for affirmative actions and the formation of a waiting list in case of remaining spots. Positions, Format and Duration of the Course
Each class in Work Safety offers 30 spots per shift (morning and afternoon), totaling 60.
The training is in-person, in the subsequent modality, with a course load of 1,200 hours and a duration of 24 months. Classes occur from Monday to Friday, at the Campus Jaboatão dos Guararapes of IFPE.
