O Federal Institute of Mato Grosso do Sul (IFMS) opened three selection processes to fill 250 places on free specialization courses.
The courses are in person and include the areas of Teaching for Professional, Scientific and Technological Education e Teaching Science and Mathematics.
Vacancies are offered in five cities of the state: Campo Grande, Corumba, New Andradina, Ponta Pora e three ponds.
These courses are aimed at professionals seeking qualification and recognized certification by the MEC, and admission is scheduled for the first semester of 2025. Best of all: the vacancies are Returns!
Details of the courses offered
- Specialization in Teaching Science and Mathematics
On campus Campo Grande, the course of Teaching Science and Mathematics offers 50 vacancies, primarily intended for graduates in Sciences (Chemistry, Physics or Biology), Mathematics e Pedagogy.
The vacancies are divided as follows: first, graduates who work in the basic education; then, graduates who do not work in basic education, followed by bachelors.
As registrations start on December 23, 2024 and continue until January 23, 2025.
The selection will be made in two steps: analysis of documents and a electronic draw. The preliminary result will be released by the day February 18, 2025.
- Teaching for Professional, Scientific and Technological Education
This course has 160 vacancies distributed among the campuses of Campo Grande, New Andradina, Ponta Pora e three ponds. Registration begins on January 6, 2025 and continue until 31 January 2025.
Candidates who have a degree in University education in any area of training, with distribution of vacancies for IFMS employees, the general public and quota candidates.
The selection will be made through electronic draw with date set for February 10, 2025.
Furthermore, in the Corumba campus, there are 40 vacancies available for those who have a diploma in University graduate, with the same distribution between civil servants, general public and quota holders.
Registrations also go from January 6th to 31st and the selection will be made based on the analysis of the curriculum lattes of the candidates, according to the scoring table in the notice.
The preliminary result will be released by February 24, 2025.
What you need to know about the specialization
These courses of lato sensu postgraduate are Modular and have a total workload of 360 hours with 60 additional hours dedicated to the Course Completion Work (TCC).
Some subjects may be offered in the distance, providing greater flexibility for students.
Another important point: there is vacancy reservations for candidates from specific groups, like people black, brown and indigenous (PPI), And people with disabilities (PCD), ensuring greater inclusion and access to quality education.
