The main requirements are:
- Be registered in PIS or Pasep for at least five years
- Have worked with a formal contract for at least 30 days during the base year of 2024
- Have received an average monthly remuneration of up to R$ 2,765.93 in the base year
- Have the information correctly declared by the employer in RAIS or eSocial
The exact amount varies according to the time worked during the base year. Those who worked the full 12 months receive the full amount, equivalent to a minimum wage. Those who worked fewer months receive an amount proportional to the days actually worked in 2024.
How to check the payment
The bank responsible for the payment, the exact date, and the amounts can be checked for free through two official channels of the federal government. For private sector workers, the payment is usually made by Caixa Econômica Federal. For public servants, the transfer occurs through Banco do Brasil.
Queries can be made through the Digital Work Card app, available for Android and iPhone phones, or through the gov.br portal on the computer.The system allows you to check even amounts from previous years that may not have been withdrawn, provided the worker is still within the redemption period defined by the official calendar.
