New Fiocruz Vacancies Are Open This December. Internship Opportunities Focus on Candidates Without Experience Who Reside in Rio de Janeiro and Federal District.

The Oswaldo Cruz Foundation (Fiocruz) has a new selection process open with dozens of internship vacancies, there are opportunities for creating a reserve list and mandatory internships for higher education students. There are 32 vacancies without experience in the selection process of Fiocruz for internships in the cities of Brasília (DF), Maré (RJ), and Manguinhos (RJ).

Who Can Compete for the Fiocruz Internship Vacancies?

Students enrolled in the following courses can apply for the vacancies without experience:

Computer Science, Information Systems, and Computer Engineering;
Nutrition and Veterinary;
Veterinary Medicine, Biology, Biotechnology, and Biomedicine;
Library Science;
Journalism, Advertising, Cinema and Digital Media, Graphic Design, Animation Design, and Marketing;
Bachelor’s in Biology;
Social Communication/Journalism;
Biological Sciences, Biomedicine, Pharmacy, Nutrition, Microbiology, and Biotechnology;
Pharmacy;
Biological Sciences, Biomedicine, and Veterinary Medicine.

Students interested in the Fiocruz internship selection process must be regularly enrolled in higher education institutions, between the 3rd and 10th semesters. According to the data from the announcement, the duration of the mandatory internship vacancies will be based on the mandatory workload defined by the student’s educational institution, which must comply with a workload of 20 to 30 hours per week.

Applications for Fiocruz Internship Vacancies Are Made Online

Those interested in the internship vacancies must apply online through the Company-School Integration Center (CIEE) by December 15. As a form of evaluation, those who apply will undergo curricular and documentary stages, interviews, tests, group dynamics, or any other selection technique that the department responsible for the vacancy deems appropriate, of an eliminatory and classificatory nature, following the criteria established in the announcement.

This selection process for internship vacancies at Fiocruz is valid for six months and may be extended for an equal period. According to Law 11.788/2008 and Article 3 of Normative Instruction No. 214/2019 from the Ministry of Economy, the mandatory internship will be conducted without the provision of an internship scholarship, however, transportation assistance in the amount of R$ 10 per day and insurance against personal accidents will be granted.
