The Modernization Project of NORBE VI Is Part of the Foresea Strategy to Expand Its Operations With Petrobras.

Rio de Janeiro — The company has just begun the robust overhaul of the NORBE VI, its sixth-generation semi-submersible platform.

NORBE VI, previously anchored in the Guanabara Bay, will undergo a complete review. We are talking about updated control systems, from the propellers to the complex piping network.

To accomplish this feat, Foresea will rely on a contingent of 380 highly qualified professionals.

New Horizons With Petrobras

A renewed contract with Petrobras and a confirmed presence in the Campos Basin until November of this year. But NORBE VI is not alone in this. Its “sister”, ODN I, also underwent a significant overhaul, consolidating Foresea as a leader in compliance and efficiency in the maritime sector.

About NORBE VI and Foresea

Built in 2010, NORBE VI has specifications that impress. It can drill up to 2,400 meters deep and accommodate a team of 164 professionals. This is true innovation and functionality at sea!

But what makes this revolution possible? The rigor and commitment of Foresea to high standards of safety and efficiency. With international APIQ2 certification and operational uptime rates that exceed expectations, Foresea is more than capable of navigating new waters.

NORBE VI is the living proof that, when it comes to innovation and efficiency, the sky is the limit. Or, in this case, the depths of the ocean.
