Mota-Engil, a company specialized in engineering and construction, environment and services, transportation concession, energy, and mining, in a 50/50 partnership with Besix, has signed a contract under the Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) project in Cabo Delgado, Mozambique.

The project, whose client is CCS JV, will include the construction of a quay bridge and a discharge platform, totaling around 365 million dollars. The works are expected to last 32 months, starting in the first half of 2020, being the first contract awarded by CCS JV under the exploration of Area 1 of the LNG project.
