The More Than 30,000 Vacancies in Free Courses Offered by the Government Will Be Aimed at Training Young People in Maranhão
The Government of the State of Maranhão launched this week the announcement of the Maranhão Profissionalizado program, aimed at training young and adult residents of Maranhão in free courses. There are more than 30,000 vacancies in courses in the areas of professional education, languages, and projects to promote individual or collective entrepreneurship. The program is a strategy of the state government, led by the Seduc.

The main focus of the program is to train these young people and adults, aiming to generate more jobs and income for those who have workforce capable of acting in these areas, in addition to encouraging interested individuals to continue specializing, either in one of these areas or related fields.
Furthermore, the program also aims to strengthen the state’s economic sector.

More than 200 free and fully online courses with certificates are open for registration for people from all over Brazil, in areas such as technology, programming, management, and languages, and can be secured without fees, without a selection process, and only with a CPF and email until the end of June.

Take a free technical course and earn R$ 300 per month: there are 60 open slots in free technical courses to study Electrotechnics or Production Planning and Control (PPC) with support from SENAI-MS and the Bataguassu City Hall.

Courses Offered by the Government of Maranhão
With the tourism sector back in action, Barreirinhas will have the IEMA – Languages to assist in the selection of courses, which will most likely be focused on tourism.
The vocational unit of IEMA – Languages will help in São Luís and the metropolitan area, as well as in other municipalities, to select and implement the courses. In addition, IEMA is also responsible for recording the classes and teaching materials.
All of this will be available on the Maranhão Profissionalizado program portal, so the teaching will be conducted in distance education format (EAD).
In São Luís, there will be more than 500 vacancies for Basic, Intermediate, and Advanced English.
