The Maranhão Port Administration Company (Emap) offers several internship positions in its selection process in Maranhão, check the requirements below.

The creation of EMAP provided Itaqui with a new stage of development in operation, quality, people development, and business opportunities, and now it is time to benefit the public with new internship positions.

Its connections with important railways, such as the Carajás Railway, which interconnects with the North-South Railway and Transnordestina, make Itaqui an important corridor for the Midwest of Brazil. There are over 20 million hectares of hinterland (the economically served area by the port), 2,550 km of railways, and 55 kilometers of state and federal highways from BR-135.

  • Architecture
  • Business Administration
  • Accounting
  • Law
  • Engineering: Civil, Production, Mechanical, and Electrical
  • Courses in Information Technology

If you are interested in the internship positions offered by the company and want to be part of Emap in Maranhão, the requirements are as follows: Be over 18 years old and properly enrolled in an educational institution.

Some of the benefits of Emap are: Stipend: R$ 750.00, Meal voucher, Shuttle transportation, and Life insurance. Those approved for the internship positions at Emap will have to work 20 weekly hours (morning: 8 am to 12 pm / afternoon: 1 pm to 5 pm).

About the Company

The Maranhão Port Administration Company or Emap is a public corporation, under private law, created in 1998 by the government of the state of Maranhão, and based at the port of Itaqui, in the Bay of São Marcos, in São Luís, the state capital. Emap aims to manage and exploit ports commercially as well as the logistics and exercises of port sovereignty in Itaqui.
