- Official Ceremony: on Friday (7/4), at Duque de Caxias Refinery (Reduc), with the presence of President Lula and the President of Petrobras.
Main Impacts and Objectives
- Strengthening Refining and Petrochemicals: the funds will be allocated to the expansion of production, focusing on biofuels and greater energy efficiency at the Petrobras plants in Duque de Caxias and Itaboraí, in addition to the Braskem unit in Duque de Caxias.
- Boaventura Complex (Itaboraí): part of the strategic investment will be directed towards the former COMPERJ, now Boaventura Energy Complex, including the production of renewable fuels, such as SAF and diesel with 5% renewable content.
- Job Creation: the estimate is to create more than 38,000 jobs, both direct and indirect.

- Petrobras: about R$ 20 billion is planned for the integration and expansion of Reduc and the complex in Itaboraí.
