Through The Municipal Department Of The Environment And Water Resources, The City Hall Of Teresina And The Equatorial Piauí Group Signed An Agreement On Wednesday (26) To Make A Project Of Investments In Electric Cars Viable In The Capital. The Project Includes An Electric Car, Ten Electric Bicycles For Public Use, A Charging Station For Future Electric Vehicles In The Region.

According To The President Of Equatorial Piauí, Maurício Velloso, The Initiative Of The Electric Bicycles And Cars Is Part Of The Development And Research Program, And It Is Through This Project That The Group Aims To Propose A Better Use Of Energy Associated With The Means Of Transportation We Use The Most.
Other Objectives Will Be To Encourage Others To Reduce The Impacts Caused To The Environment Through The Use Of Fossil Fuels And Also To Promote A Better Quality Of Life For The Population.
The Project Of Electric Bicycles And Cars Is Part Of A Research And Development Program By Aneel, Which Is Seeking To Test, Develop, And Implement A More Effective And Faster Charging System In Brazil, Capable Of Charging Bicycles And Other Electric Vehicles At One Single Station, With The Possibility Of Future V2G Application.
