Honor has unveiled its new gaming tablet. The model is called Honor Pad GT2 Pro and was launched simultaneously alongside the X70 smartphone.
The device arrives as the direct successor to the first generation GT Pro, bringing significant improvements in screen, performance, and battery.
Updated Design, New Colors and Same Premium Proposal
The design follows the lines of the previous model, with straight sides and flat finishes. The difference lies in the new colors: Crystal White, with wavy lines, and Phantom Grey, more discreet.

The Honor Pad GT2 Pro features a 12.5-inch AMOLED screen. The resolution is expected to remain at 3000 x 1920 pixels from the previous generation.
The highlight is the 165 Hz refresh rate, a rare feature in tablets. This technology benefits games like Crossfire: Gunfight King, providing smoother and faster images.
Immersive Sound With 8 Speakers and IMAX Enhanced Certification
To complete the gaming experience, the tablet is equipped with eight speakers.

The sound system carries IMAX Enhanced certification, ensuring high-quality audio for both games and videos.
Slightly Larger Battery and Still Thin Body
The model’s battery has been increased to 10,100 mAh. Despite this, the thickness remains at 5.8 mm.
The weight has risen slightly to 580 grams, still within expectations for a gaming tablet with a large screen and powerful sound.
System, Connectivity and Sales Forecast in China
The new generation is expected to run Android 15 with the MagicOS 9.0 interface. Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and 66 W fast charging are anticipated features.

How Much Does The New Honor Pad GT2 Pro Cost?
The Honor Pad GT2 Pro tablet is already available for pre-sale in China and will be available to the public starting July 28. The line will have four versions with the following suggested prices:

- 8 GB + 256 GB — 2,699 yuan (approximately R$ 2,024.25)
- 12 GB + 256 GB — 2,999 yuan (approximately R$ 2,249.25)
- 16 GB + 512 GB — 3,399 yuan (approximately R$ 2,549.25)
Initially, Honor’s gaming tablet is expected to remain exclusive to the Asian market, with no plans for launch in other regions.
