Federal Institute of Farroupilha (IFFar) Is Open for Enrollment in Free Distance Learning Courses. A Total of 120 Spots Are Available in Free Distance Learning Postgraduate Courses.

For those looking for Distance Learning Postgraduate courses, the Federal Institute of Farroupilha (IFFar) has recently opened enrollment for free distance learning courses. There are 120 spots available, distributed across three free Distance Learning Postgraduate courses, with registration open until June 14.

What Free Distance Learning Courses Does the Federal Institute Offer?

The free Distance Learning Postgraduate courses at IFFar are aimed at those who have already completed a higher education course. One of the courses offered requires specific training in the area of Tourism, Gastronomy, or related fields.

Forty spots will be available in each of the free Distance Learning courses. All are offered in the EaD format – classes take place through the Moodle environment. During registration, candidates must choose a research project proposal, which will be used as a selection criterion for all programs. The free Distance Learning Postgraduate courses offered by the Federal Institute are as follows:

School Management

This course has a workload of 360 hours and an average duration of 3 semesters. This program is aimed at holders of a higher education diploma in Licentiate Degrees or equivalent, or holders of a higher education diploma.

Methodologies and Practices for Basic Education

With a workload of 400 hours and a duration of 3 semesters, this course focuses on holders of a higher education diploma in Licentiate Degrees or equivalent, or holders of a higher education diploma.

Territorial Development: Tourism and Gastronomy

With a workload of 360 hours and a duration of 2 semesters, the requirements for this program are holders of a higher education diploma in Tourism, Gastronomy, or related fields.

Learn How to Participate in the Free Distance Learning Courses at IFFar

Enrollment, as well as the programs, is completely free. It must be done through the IFFar system, and the deadline for registration is June 14.

When registering, candidates must submit the following documents: graduation diploma or completion declaration, proof of residence, CPF or CNH containing the CPF number, RG or CNH containing the RG number, birth or marriage certificate, and the research project proposal.

Quota candidates must also submit supporting documents according to the chosen quota. Complete information about the enrollment process is available in the notice, which is mandatory reading for all candidates.

The preliminary list of enrolled candidates will be announced by the Federal Institute on June 20, and the preliminary list of classified candidates will be announced on July 29. The final result of the selection process will be announced on July 31, thus, the enrollment period will be from August 1 to 7 for the first call and August 8 and 9 for substitutes, with classes starting in August of this year.
