The Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Rio Grande do Sul (IFRS) is opening an unmissable opportunity for those dreaming of becoming a teacher. With the launch of the Selection Process for students 2024/01, IFRS is offering 468 vacancies in various degree courses, all free and taught at its ten campuses.

Variety of Courses in Different Locations of IFRS

Those interested can choose from several course options, strategically distributed across IFRS campuses. Opportunities include:

Degree in Physics: Offered at the Bento Gonçalves Campus, in the evening, with 35 vacancies available.
Degree in Language Arts – Portuguese: Available at the Bento Gonçalves Campus, in the evening shift, with 35 vacancies.
Degree in Language Arts – Portuguese/English: Offered at the Feliz Campus (evening, 32 vacancies) and Osório Campus (evening, 36 vacancies).
Degree in Language Arts – Portuguese/Spanish: Held at the Restinga Campus, in the evening, with 32 vacancies.
Degree in Mathematics: Available at the Bento Gonçalves (evening, 35 vacancies), Canoas (morning, 40 vacancies), Caxias do Sul (evening, 40 vacancies), Ibirubá (evening, 30 vacancies), and Osório (evening, 36 vacancies) campuses.
Degree in Pedagogy: Offered at the Farroupilha Campus, in the evening shift, with 30 vacancies.
Degree in Chemistry: Held at the Feliz Campus, at night, with 32 vacancies.
Degree in Biological Sciences: Offered at the Sertão (morning, 20 vacancies) and Vacaria (evening, 35 vacancies) campuses.

Prepare for a Career in Teaching

The degree courses at IFRS are in-person and cover a variety of subjects related to didactics and pedagogy. The estimated duration of the courses varies from four to five years, providing a solid foundation for your future career as a teacher. Candidates have two selection options: they can compete through a specific exam or using scores from the National High School Exam (Enem) from 2018 onwards.
