Honda’s Rival Launches Affordable Motorcycle and Promises to Dethrone Japanese Vehicles. For Only R$ 8,000, the Affordable Motorcycle Promises to Deliver Cutting-Edge Technologies and Good Power.

Honda is known for being one of the most beloved motorcycle manufacturers in Brazil. This is a great truth, considering that in the ranking of the 10 best-selling motorcycles in Brazil in 2023, the Japanese giant occupies the 7th position. However, being the most loved does not mean it has the cheapest products. Currently, the cheapest motorcycle is from Honda’s rival – Shineray Worker 125.

The affordable motorcycle is the Shineray Worker 125. According to data from Motor1, this motorcycle is priced at R$ 8,490. The affordable motorcycle features a 123.67 cm³ engine, 7.2 horsepower, and 0.80 kgfm of torque, making it a vehicle that could capture a large audience here.

The amenities do not stop there, extending to a 4-speed mechanical gearbox, disc brakes at the front, and drum brakes at the rear. Additionally, it also has electric and pedal start. Originally presented in 2021, the Shineray Worker now has a new model.

This model comes with some improvements such as a new taillight and the important disc brake on the front wheel. Given that a four-wheeled vehicle costs no less than R$ 50,000, buying an affordable motorcycle for only R$ 8,490 can be a great alternative.

The design of the Worker 125 for the year 2023 resembles motorcycles from the 1960s and 1970s. Its retro style is one of its main characteristics that attracts consumers’ attention. However, that doesn’t mean it lacks modern qualities.

Fuel Consumption of the New Affordable Shineray Motorcycle Surprises

For better ergonomics during riding, the motorcycle features seats, disc brakes on the front wheel and drum brakes on the rear, and shock absorbers that generate greater safety. The wheels of the affordable motorcycle are made of alloy with 2.50 size tires and 18-inch rims at the front, and 3.00 with 17-inch rims at the rear.

The front suspension is of the Telescopic Fork type and the rear is conventional with two shock absorbers. The electrical system of the Shineray Worker has a 12V battery and CDI type ignition, meaning Capacitive Discharge Ignition, in addition to featuring a USB port for charging mobile devices.

The affordable motorcycle features a 123.67 cc OHC engine, single-cylinder, four-stroke, and oil-bathed multi-plate clutch. The transmission is manual with four speeds. The system has both electric and pedal start.

Fueled with gasoline, the engine delivers 7.2 horsepower at 7,500 rpm and 0.81 kgfm of torque at 6,000 rpm. According to factory data, the motorcycle averages 40 km/l. With a 14-liter fuel tank, the Worker 125 can achieve a range of up to 520 km on a full tank.

Honda Launches Affordable Motorcycle for Under R$ 4,000

Honda surprised the market by launching an affordable motorcycle priced below R$ 4,000, generating great enthusiasm among motorcyclists. With this competitive price, the new affordable motorcycle has the potential to revolutionize the market.

According to media reports, Honda stirred the market by launching the Shine 100, a notable motorcycle not only for its competitive price but also for being the brand’s most accessible and economical model in the country with an electric start system. Its price is significantly lower compared to the Pop 110i, the most economical model from the manufacturer in the country.
