Opportunities Are Distributed Among 31 Extension Poles of Faetec Spread Across the State of Rio de Janeiro.
The Technical School Support Foundation (Faetec) has opened registrations for its free courses aimed at the population. The initiative seeks to offer educational, cultural, and sports activities, with a special focus on the most underserved areas of the state. The project’s main objective is to minimize the inequalities amplified by the covid-19 pandemic, providing alternatives for learning and development in three essential areas: Artistic, Cultural, Physical, and Sports Education; Vocational Education; and Regular and Civic Education.
Among the activities offered are courses in theater, dance, music, sports, as well as vocational options such as sewing and social media. School reinforcement classes and preparatory courses for college entrance exams will also be offered, addressing a broad community demand.
Who Can Register for Faetec’s Free Courses?
The project aims to reach as many people as possible, including students, families, and the local community in neighborhoods close to the poles. To participate, interested individuals must reside in the areas served by the poles and register for activities of interest.
