With classes offered in the distance learning mode, the courses also foresee mandatory in-person stages at the centers chosen by the candidates, according to the rules of each course and the selection process.
Among the available options are Administration, Logistics, Environment, and Occupational Safety, areas informed in the entrance exam announcement.
The official page of the selection process also lists courses such as Brewing, Coffee Growing, Production Planning and Control, Quality, and Internet Computing, with durations varying according to each course.
At the Machado campus, there are vacancies for Brewing, Environment, and Occupational Safety.
The offer from the Muzambinho campus includes Coffee Growing, while the Pouso Alegre campus concentrates options such as Administration, Occupational Safety, Production Planning and Control, Logistics, and Quality.
Also participating in the selection process, the Três Corações campus offers subsequent technical courses in Administration and Internet Computing.

Who can participate in the IFSULDEMINAS EaD entrance exam
The subsequent technical courses are intended for people who have already completed high school and seek professional training in a federal public institution.
This modality caters to candidates interested in obtaining technical qualifications for professional practice or changing fields, provided they meet the educational requirement specified in the notice.
By replacing the traditional exam, the selection by electronic lottery determines the classification of applicants according to the rules of the selection process.
According to the official schedule, the list of applicants will be published on June 25, at 2 PM, while the electronic lottery is scheduled for June 26, also at 2 PM.
The announcement of the lottery results, with the list of selected and surplus candidates, is scheduled for June 29, at 2 PM.
After this stage, the selected candidates must follow the enrollment deadlines, document submission, and possible subsequent calls, according to the selection process schedule.
The first call for enrollment requests is scheduled to occur from July 3, at 2 PM, to July 9, at 5:59 PM.
The notice also provides for interviews with the heteroidentification committee for candidates who meet the affirmative action rules.
On-site centers serve cities in Minas, São Paulo, and Espírito Santo
Although the courses are offered in the EaD modality, the structure includes on-site support centers, used for mandatory activities, assessments, and academic follow-up.
The choice of the center must be observed at the time of registration, as the student must attend the indicated location whenever there is a requirement for on-site training.
In Minas Gerais, the official list includes municipalities such as Boa Esperança, Alfenas, Andradas, Cambuí, Campo Belo, Campestre, Coqueiral, Extrema, Ilicínea, Monte Sião, Paraisópolis, Pouso Alegre, São Sebastião do Paraíso, Três Corações, and Três Pontas, among other centers linked to the courses.
In the state of São Paulo, the selection includes cities such as Campinas, Cubatão, Diadema, Araraquara, Araras, Botucatu, Bragança Paulista, Itapetininga, Serrana, São João da Boa Vista, and Votorantim, according to the distribution of technical courses on the official entrance exam page.
In Espírito Santo, there are centers like Domingos Martins and Conceição da Barra, associated with courses offered by the Pouso Alegre campus.
With this distribution, the selection process reaches cities beyond the South of Minas, but the availability of vacancies depends on the course, the responsible campus, and the center chosen by the candidate.
Free training with a distance learning routine
The EaD modality allows part of the academic routine to be carried out in an online environment, according to the organization of each course and the institution’s guidelines.
Even with distance activities, the candidate should consider that the training does not occur entirely without physical presence, as the centers are part of the academic structure provided in the notice.
The subsequent technical courses focus on professional training, with subjects related to the specific activities of each area.
Administration and Logistics, for example, cover content related to management, process organization, and operations, while Environment and Occupational Safety involve technical routines and regulatory requirements related to the corresponding sectors.
The free courses are part of the training offer at a federal public institution, according to the selection process announced by IFSULDEMINAS.
However, the registration fee should be observed by candidates who do not obtain an exemption, as the notice informs the amount of R$ 10 for participation in the selection process.
The official schedule also foresees that dates may be changed through an amendment published on the notice page.
For this reason, monitoring the IFSULDEMINAS portal is necessary to check registration deadlines, draw, enrollment, and possible calls for excess candidates.
