The Federal University of São Carlos (UFSCar) is open for enrollment in the free Licentiate Degree in Pedagogy in distance education (EaD). However, it is important to stay alert, as enrollment for these opportunities, created in partnership with the Open University of Brazil (UAB), will end soon.

According to UFSCar, a total of 650 spots are being offered, associated with 13 Physical Support Poles in the state of São Paulo. In this sense, each pole is said to offer 50 spots.

Reservation of Spots

According to UFSCar, at least 10% of the spots are directed to candidates who prove an active and effective link as teachers in basic education networks who do not have training in the area in which they work.

In addition, at least 50% of the spots will be for candidates who are graduates of public education who, at the time of enrollment, choose to enter through spot reservation.

Online Classes

The course itself will be taught online, but the tests, aimed at diagnosing learning levels, are in-person and occur, on average, every 30 to 40 days, taking place at accredited poles.

Because of this, it is important for the candidate to be attentive when choosing the pole. As mentioned, there are 13 in total. Of these, five are in the city of São Paulo and the other eight are in the interior of the state. In São Paulo, the units are located in the neighborhoods of Interlagos, Jardim Nardini-Jaraguá, Jardim São Carlos, Parque Bristol, and São João Clímaco.

In the interior, the poles are in the following cities: Apiaí (center), Bertioga (Indaiá neighborhood), Botucatu, Itapevi (Jardim Itapevi), Osasco (center), Peruíbe (Balneário Stella Maris), Santos, and Votuporanga.

How to Register and Until When Are Enrollments Open for the Free Course at UFSCar

Interested? If so, know that enrollments remain open until this Monday (22). According to the information, the spots are open to everyone, with the only requirement being that you have completed high school. All information should be checked in the official notice, available here.

However, before you go to the page, it is important to highlight that to participate in the selection process, a payment of R$ 85 must be made. After paying the fee, you must fill in your personal information and submit the documentation requested by the university.
