The free course provides for the participation of students in 1 face-to-face meeting with a mandatory workload of 5 hours, highlighted as follows: participation and presentation at the Scientific Conferences of the IFES Linhares campus of the research project prepared during the free course or scientific research developed by the student during the disciplines.

Registration for the free online postgraduate course at the Federal Institute can only be done online, by accessing the registration system between November 26 and January 10. Those interested in registering should access the registration system on the IFES website. The registration fee will be R$80 reais.
According to the resolution of the IFES higher council, of the total of 40 places on free courses offered, 10 places will be reserved for black, mixed race or indigenous people (PPI) and 2 places for people with disabilities (PcD) in order to comply with the affirmative action policy of the Postgraduate Program.

Selection process steps
The selection process will be carried out by the Selection Committee, composed of employees of the Institute, appointed through Ordinance No. 208, of September 5, 2024, of the IFES Linhares campus. The selection process will consist of two stages, namely the analysis of curriculum and professional experience, both worth 100 points.

The deadline for appeals regarding the CV Analysis will follow the schedule of the selection process, and the publication of the Result will be made available on the IFES website. The publication of the final result of the Selection Process is scheduled for March 7, 2025.
