Training Opportunities Until November 24, With Tax Exemptions Available for Candidates Until Early November
The Federal Institute announced the opening of registrations for integrated vocational courses and specializations. Interested candidates can register until November 24 and can request fee exemptions until October 31 for vocational courses and until November 3 for specializations, according to the Diário do Vale website.
Courses Available in Volta Redonda
At the Volta Redonda campus, IFRJ offers 120 openings for the technical course in Industrial Automation, which lasts three years. Additionally, there are 16 openings for the hybrid specialization in Industrial Automation and Robotics. Likewise, IFRJ provides 16 openings for the specialization in Teaching Natural Sciences and Mathematics.
Leonardo Vidal, coordinator of the postgraduate program in Industrial Automation, highlights the importance of these opportunities. Course Options at IFRJ in Pinheiral
At the Pinheiral campus, students will find technical courses in Agroindustry, Livestock, Information Technology, and Environmental Studies, all lasting three years. Additionally, IFRJ offers a specialization in Regional Development and Sustainability, which lasts 18 months and may be extended for up to six months for the completion of the final project.
These courses aim to provide a solid theoretical and practical training. At the same time, the specializations seek to deepen specific knowledge, meeting the growing demand for qualified professionals.
Selection Process and Registrations
The selection process for the integrated high school will be through an objective test on December 15. This test will take place from 9 AM to 12 PM and will contain 30 questions: 15 in Portuguese Language and 15 in Mathematics. The test location will be informed on the Registration Confirmation Card.
For postgraduate vacancies, candidates will undergo a more complex selection process. They will face five elimination stages, which include document analysis, resume, letter of intent, and interview.
Interested candidates must register for both selection processes via the Registration Form. The registration fee is R$ 70.00 for the technical course and R$ 80.00 for the specialization. Additionally, candidates may request authorization as previously mentioned.
