Applications for Bachelor’s Degrees, Licentiates, and Technology Courses at Various Campuses Are Open Until September; Learn Who Can Request a Waiver of the Fee.

The Federal Institute of Paraná (IFPR) is accepting applications for 2,166 vacancies in various free undergraduate courses. Classes are scheduled to begin in the first semester of 2026. The opportunities cover various fields of knowledge and are distributed across different campuses and shifts, in the formats of bachelor’s and technology programs.

How to Enroll in IFPR’s Undergraduate Courses?

Interested candidates can apply until September 29. To apply for one of the vacancies at the Federal Institute of Paraná, it is necessary to have completed high school. The entire process, including access to the announcement and registration, must be done through the official IFPR website.

Who Can Request a Waiver of the Application Fee?

Candidates wishing to request a waiver of the application fee have until September 15 to make the request. To qualify for the benefit, a specific form must be filled out in the system, and supporting documentation must be submitted.

The waiver is intended for two groups: those registered in the Single Registry for Social Benefits (CadÚnico) or those who prove a gross monthly family income of up to one minimum wage per person and have fully studied in public schools.

Vacancies and Selection for Licentiate Courses

The Licentiate courses at the Federal Institute of Paraná have free registrations. Classes are in-person, offered at 17 campuses, and intended for those who have completed high school. The selection process consists of an online writing test, which is eliminatory, scheduled for October 19, in addition to the analysis of school performance.

The distribution of vacancies follows the institution’s quota policy: 60% are reserved for candidates from public schools and 40% for the open competition.

How Does the Process Work for Bachelor’s and Technology Courses?

For bachelor’s and technology courses, the application fee is R$ 50. The vacancies are also for high school graduates and are distributed across 22 campuses of the Federal Institute of Paraná. The selection method is the same as that for the licentiates, involving an eliminatory online writing test on October 19 and analysis of the academic records.

The division of vacancies also maintains the ratio of 60% for students from public schools and 40% for the open competition.
