The Federal Institute of Southern Minas (IFSULDEMINAS), Poços de Caldas Campus, has opened registrations for the free Initial and Ongoing Training course “Prepares ENA-ProfEPT 2026”.
The training is offered 100% online, has a workload of 160 hours, and offers 100 slots.
The objective is to prepare graduates for the National Access Exam for the Professional Master’s Degree in Professional and Technological Education (ProfEPT) 2026.

The course is aimed at candidates with a bachelor’s degree in any field of knowledge who wish to participate in the ENA of the ProfEPT and have a computer with internet access.
The entire process, including registration and certification, is free of charge.
Structure And Format Of The Course
The training will be conducted entirely online, from November 25, 2025, to January 27, 2026, with classes conducted in a virtual environment and support from teachers and tutors.
The content is divided into two main modules: Conceptual And Historical Bases Of Professional And Technological Education (80 hours) and Teaching And Learning Theories And Practices (80 hours).
According to IFSULDEMINAS, the course follows the reference bibliography indicated by the National Coordination of ProfEPT for the National Access Exam (ENA) 2026.
The proposal is to offer training aligned with the works and themes that structure the exam, addressing theoretical and methodological concepts related to professional education.
Teaching Staff And Conduct Of Activities
Classes will be taught by Professor Camilla Cristina Silva and Professor Marcus Fernandes Marcusso, members of the teaching staff at the Poços de Caldas campus.
Access to the virtual platform will be granted before the start of activities, according to the official schedule.
The institution informs that any adjustments to the calendar may occur only in exceptional situations, such as technical unavailability or administrative necessity.
Assessment And Certification
Upon completion of the course, participants will undergo a final assessment that will cover all the studied content.
A student who achieves a minimum of 60% of performance will be considered approved.
The certificate will be issued in accordance with the FIC course standards of IFSULDEMINAS.
The announcement provides for the cancellation of enrollment or loss of certification if the participant provides incorrect information during registration.
Institutional Objective
The “Prepares ENA-ProfEPT 2026” is part of IFSULDEMINAS’s efforts to increase access to graduate education in Professional And Technological Education.
According to experts in the field, initiatives of this type help facilitate the entry of professionals from different regions and fields of knowledge into public master’s programs.
The training is also seen by educators as an opportunity for theoretical update and strengthening of the conceptual bases of PTE, in accordance with the guidelines of ProfEPT, maintained by the Federal Network of Professional, Scientific, And Technological Education.
How To Register
After filling out the form, the candidate will receive a confirmation via email and should follow the official communications from the Poços de Caldas campus.
The result of the electronic lottery will be published on November 18, 2025, on the institutional website, with the list of selected candidates and alternates.
Between November 19 and 24, the selected candidates must confirm their enrollment and follow the instructions for accessing the virtual platform. Classes are scheduled to start on November 25, 2025.
