The Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Southern Minas Gerais (IFSULDEMINAS) is currently accepting applications for the Selection Process 2025.1, governed by Notice 216/2024. The opportunity is for the free Concurrent Technical Course in Environmental Studies, with 40 available spots at the Machado campus.

This course is for those who wish to enhance their skills and enter the job market with a quality technical education.

Course Objective and Workload

The free technical course aims to main objective is to train students to work in the environmental field, developing technical and practical skills that meet the sector’s demands. Classes are held in the afternoon in a face-to-face format, lasting two years. The activities include theoretical classes, laboratory practices, seminars, and periodic evaluations, ensuring a comprehensive education.

The Machado campus offers 40 places, distributed between general competition and affirmative actions, including quotas for individuals with disabilities and students from public schools.

Selection Process

The selection will be conducted through an electronic lottery, ensuring impartiality and transparency. Of the available spots, 45% are reserved for general competition, 5% for individuals with disabilities, and 50% for affirmative actions, according to Law No. 12.711/2012. Candidates enrolled in the quota system must prove their eligibility according to the criteria described in the notice.

Registration Requirements

To participate, it is necessary to be in the 2nd year of High School at the time of enrollment. It is also mandatory to have a personal CPF and RG, and the candidate must register through the gov.br system, using a valid email for communication during the process.
