The Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Southern Minas Gerais (IFSULDEMINAS) is open for subscriptions for the Selection Process 2025.1, governed by Notice 216/2024. The opportunity is for the free Concomitant Technical Course in Environment, with 40 places offered on the Machado campus.

Course objective and workload
The free technical course has the following features: main goal to train students to work in the environmental field, developing technical and practical skills that meet the demands of the sector. Classes are held in the afternoon, in person, and last two years. The activities include theoretical classes, laboratory practices, seminars and periodic assessments, ensuring a complete education.

Available vacancies and locations
The Machado campus offers 40 vacancies, distributed between broad competition and affirmative actions, including quotas for people with disabilities and students from public schools.
Selection process
The selection will be made through an electronic draw, ensuring impartiality and transparency. Of the vacancies, 45% are reserved for open competition, 5% for people with disabilities, and 50% for affirmative action, in accordance with Law No. 12.711/2012. Candidates registered under the quota system must prove their eligibility according to the criteria described in the notice.
Application requirements
To participate, you must be in your second year of high school at the time of enrollment. You must also have your own CPF and ID, and you must register through the gov.br system, using a valid email address for communication during the process.

- Applications: September 16, 2024 to January 10, 2025
- Electronic draw: January 17, 2025
- Final result: January 20, 2025
- Application for enrollment: January 20-24, 2025
- Classes start: As per campus academic calendar
