Macapá City Hall Announces the Oil Intensive Course with Free Classes in Environmental Monitoring, Logistics, and Safety. The Initiative Aims to Prepare Professionals for Opportunities in the Oil and Gas Market.
The Macapá City Hall has announced a new initiative to strengthen professional qualification in the oil sector. This is the Oil Intensive Course, a cycle of free classes aimed at residents interested in working in the oil and gas fields. The initiative, therefore, reinforces the municipality’s strategy to expand access to technical training and generate new job opportunities.
The courses will be held in December and cover essential topics for those looking to enter or advance in the oil industry, which continues to expand in the country.
Free and Open Courses — Monitoring, Logistics, and Safety in the Oil Sector
The program will take place at the Madureira Assembly of God, located at Rua Adilson José Pinto Pereira, nº 140, in the Pacoval neighborhood. Activities will begin on December 1st and 3rd with the Environmental Monitoring course, from 6 PM to 10 PM.

Moreover, all training courses are free and have limited spots. Registration must be done via the online form provided by the city hall.
Interinstitutional Partnership Strengthens the Incentive for Technical Training in Oil
The Oil Intensive Course is led by the Municipal Secretary of Human Rights and Citizenship (SEMDHC), in partnership with the Madre Teresa Teaching Center and the Oil Commission of the Macapá City Council. Together, the institutions have structured a streamlined yet strategic schedule aimed at the main demands of the oil sector.
Thus, the city hall aims to prepare workers for a market that, in addition to being competitive, demands constant qualification. The free offering also reduces barriers to access training and encourages the professionalization of youth and adults.
