The Institute of Nuclear and Energy Research (IPEN), USP Graduate Unit, has extended the deadline for enrollment in free courses in partnership with Russian professors from the National Nuclear Research University of Moscow.
The opportunity extends until Friday, September 22, at 12 PM. The free courses, taught by specialists from the Moscow Engineering Physics Institute (MEPhI), will cover various areas of nuclear technology and will begin on September 25, lasting six weeks, offering online and hybrid modalities.
Learning Opportunity with Foreign Professors
The courses, although primarily aimed at graduate and post-doctoral students, are also open to special students, undergraduate students from USP, staff, technicians, researchers, and faculty members from the IPEN Graduate Programs and CNEN. The subjects encompass areas such as Radiation Biology, Nuclear Power Plant Safety, Nuclear Technologies, and Design Features of Research Nuclear Reactors. It is a unique opportunity to enhance knowledge in critical topics in the nuclear field.
Hybrid Week and the “Hackatom” Event
A hybrid week, occurring from October 30 to November 3, will allow the presence of Russian professors at IPEN in São Paulo. During this period, the exciting “Hackatom” event will also take place, organized by the Russian faculty in collaboration with the funding agency Rosatom. Prizes include tablets and a trip to Russia, providing an enriching experience for the participants.
