JBL Xtreme 5 is launched in Brazil with a battery of up to 28 hours, AI Sound Boost, Bluetooth 6.0, integrated LEDs, and a suggested price of R$ 1,699.
Harman confirmed this week the arrival of the JBL Xtreme 5 to the Brazilian market. The new generation of the premium portable speaker arrives in the country bringing improvements in sound performance, battery life, connectivity, and durability. The launch also marks the debut of integrated LED lighting in the product, along with new features aimed at those seeking power and mobility in a single device.
With a suggested price of R$ 1,699, the model will be sold in black and blue colors and bets on a combination of extended autonomy, updated audio technologies, and advanced connection features.
JBL Xtreme 5 bets on audio improvements and distortion reduction
Among the main novelties of the JBL Xtreme 5 is the updated version of AI Sound Boost technology. The system works by making real-time sound adjustments to preserve audio quality even when the volume is high.

The feature helps to keep the bass more defined and reduces possible distortions during music playback.
The acoustic set also received special attention. The structure includes:
- Dedicated subwoofer;
- Dual tweeters;
- Integrated AI Sound Boost system.
The combination of these elements aims to deliver a more balanced and powerful sound experience in different environments.

Autonomy can reach up to 28 hours of playback
Another highlight of the new portable speaker is the battery. The manufacturer states that the JBL Xtreme 5 offers up to 24 hours of continuous playback under normal usage conditions.
For those who need more time away from the outlet, the device features the Playtime Boost function. When activated, the technology allows extending the total autonomy to up to 28 hours.
Additionally, the battery is designed to be removable. This way, the user can replace the component themselves if necessary.
The recharge has also been improved. With fast charging, just 10 minutes connected to power are enough to ensure up to two additional hours of operation.
Advanced connectivity expands usage possibilities
The new generation of the speaker comes equipped with Bluetooth 6.0 and support for Auracast technology.
In practice, these features allow connecting multiple compatible speakers simultaneously. This makes it possible to create stereo systems or expand sound coverage in larger spaces, making the experience more versatile for different situations.
Besides wireless transmission, the JBL Xtreme 5 also supports lossless audio via USB-C connection.

Reinforced resistance and dynamic lighting
Durability is another highlight of the launch. The device has an IP68 certification, a feature that ensures protection against water and dust.
Meanwhile, the visual aspect gained a new element. The dynamic LED lighting follows the rhythm of the music and adds a visual effect during use.
The LEDs are not just for decoration. They also function as indicators of important information, including battery level, Bluetooth connection status, and Auracast activation.
App offers sound customization
Users who want to adjust playback according to their preferences have support from the JBL Portable app.
Through the platform, it is possible to access a seven-band equalizer, allowing you to configure different sound profiles according to the musical style or the usage environment.
With a focus on performance, connectivity, and autonomy, the JBL Xtreme 5 arrives in Brazil expanding the brand’s premium portfolio and bringing together features aimed at both home use and outdoor activities.
