From Dream to Reality, Jetman Dubai Breaks All Barriers and Redefines What It Means to Be Human in the 21st Century.
It is impossible to talk about Dubai without mentioning innovation and boldness. And this time, they have outdone themselves with the Jetman Dubai project. Imagine cutting through the skies at speeds of up to 253 mph, reaching altitudes of over 20,000 feet! Well, get ready because this is stepping out of science fiction and becoming reality.
A Trio of Brilliant Minds
What made this dream possible were three engineers from different parts of the world: Mohammed Rashid Chembankandy from India, André Bernet from Switzerland, and Chief Engineer Matthieu Courtois from France. The project, which received support from Expo 2020 Dubai, spared no effort in research and testing to ensure the pilot’s safety.

Pioneering Technology: Engineering and Safety
The team developed a manually controlled thrust vectoring nozzle that offers total human control during all phases of flight, without the aid of electronic stabilization systems. The health and safety of the Jetman are top priorities, with over 50 preparatory flights and numerous tests, including simulations with a helicopter.

Seen from space, an underwater volcano erupts in the Pacific, spewing smoke directly from the sea, spreading floating pumice, and may be creating a new island in a region so poorly mapped that scientists still do not know exactly which structure is erupting.

Researchers identify marks of Ice Age megafloods in the United States, a phenomenon that crossed Montana, Idaho, Washington, and Oregon, sculpted rolling hills like waves, and left giant scars that still challenge the landscape.
The Words of the Protagonists
This incredible flight is the result of an extremely meticulous team effort. It is yet another step in a long-term project. We are working on the next goal, which is to land back on the ground without needing a parachute.

The Future Is Now
The Expo that took place in Dubai and Jetman Dubai want to show that the impossible is just a matter of perspective. According to Aysha Al Nuaimi, the project leader from Expo, “It’s fitting that this feat was accomplished in the United Arab Emirates, the nation without limits.”
And for those who still doubt this technological milestone, it is worth checking out the demo video released by Jetman Dubai itself. The future of human flight is here, and it is more exciting than ever.
