Finally, A Competitor for Volkswagen! New Electric Minivan from Chinese Manufacturer Aims to “Face” Volkswagen’s ID.Buzz
Zeekr, a Chinese manufacturer of high-end electric vehicles, is ready to launch its newest electric van model, the Zeekr Mix. With a futuristic design and impressive power, the electric minivan emerges as a potential competitor to Volkswagen’s iconic electric Kombi, the ID.Buzz. While there is no information about its availability in the Brazilian market yet, the Zeekr Mix is already generating great curiosity and anticipation, according to the website Quatro Rodas.
The look of the Zeekr Mix electric van is marked by an unconventional design, reminiscent of the front end of the old Citroën C4 Picasso. The sharp and darkened headlights, interconnected from one side to the other, give the model a modern and unique appearance. The side and the rear are clean, with flush door handles, featuring only the diamond-cut alloy wheels, the rear spoiler, and the taillights below the rear window.
Dimensions and Platform of the Electric Van
Measuring 4.68 meters in length, 1.95 meters in width, 1.75 meters in height, and with a wheelbase of 3 meters, the Zeekr Mix electric van is smaller than the Kombi competitor, but not by much. The electric van is built on Geely’s Sustainable Experience Architecture platform, the parent company of Zeekr, and will feature an 86 kWh battery with 800-volt technology, capable of charging up to 360 kW. The range has not yet been disclosed.

Zeekr has not yet announced the prices of the Mix, but it is likely that it will initially be sold only in China. However, there are reports that the company plans to expand the model’s availability to other markets, which could include Brazil.
